Coventry Community Digital Radio is a not for profit Community Interest Company, which has been created to secure and deliver free, high quality DAB access for community radio stations based in Coventry. The company will also offer DAB carriage services for commercial service providers who are interested in digital broadcasting within the Coventry area.

Coverage: The exact coverage is currently being agreed with Ofcom as part of the final technical proposal but will cover the majority of the City of Coventry, although some reception outside this area could be possible at suboptimal signal strengths.

who are we?
Coventry Community Digital Radio CIC is a local partnership of community radio stations based in Coventry.
Our objective is to provide high quality digital radio transmission services and access to the new Small Scale DAB Multiplex in Coventry.
The CIC is a partnership between:-
Coventry Spirit Radio (Radio Plus) - An OFCOM licensed community station that launched in 2010. Radio Plus serves the 15-35 year old market, providing great music, local features and a Christian prospective on life in Coventry.
Vanny Radio - An OFCOM licensed community station that launched in 2014. It serves the under 25 and BAME communities living in Coventry.
Stuart Linnell MBE (Chairman) - Stuart is an award winning broadcaster and veteran of the UK Radio Industry. He has previously chaired the Coventry Chamber of Commerce. Now semi retired, Stuart is currently chair of Healthwatch Coventry.
Maxxwave - The technical partner who will oversee the design, installation and management of our DAB broadcast platform. Maxxwave currently provide transmission services for many of the UK's leading commercial broadcasters.
Dr Rob Watson - Decentered Media will provide administrative support for the project. Overseeing our license administration and the day to day management of the service.
The new DAB service has already gained strong local support from Coventry City Council, The UK City of Culture Trust, Creative Lives and The Bishop of Coventry.
